On Friday, 8 May, more than 500 guests joined us at The Cube, Campbelltown, for the 17th Annual Ladies Lipstick Luncheon. As always, it proved to be a vibrant and inspiring celebration of generosity and connection within our community.

This year’s theme, “Believe in our Brilliance,” shone throughout the event, reminding us all of the unique strengths, talents and potential within all of our children, students and participants. The Mater Dei School Choir showcased their talent with moving performances to “Try Everything” and “A Million Dreams”, while the Dance Troupe brought energy and excitement to the stage with their performance to “Best Day of My Life.” Their confidence, joy and enthusiasm proved a true highlight.

A particularly touching moment came when Mater Dei parent Mary Moretti took to the stage alongside MDECE Educational Leader Jess Joyce and NextPath Assessment & Therapy Speech Pathologist Yasmine Patel to share Emilia’s journey through Mater Dei Preschool and Mater Dei School. Their story provided a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact our programs and people continue to have each day

Guests also enjoyed a range of exciting fundraising activities throughout the day, with lucky entrant, Jose, winning a brand new Toyota Yaris in our Lipstick Luncheon Car Raffle!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated Lipstick Luncheon Committee, led by Chairperson Rebekah Gates, along with Pina Nasso, Sarita Viler, Donna O’Neill, Anna Younan, Karina Rauch, Emma Knapp, Katie Palmer-McDonald, Vanessa Black and Alison McManus. Their passion and commitment to Mater Dei brought this wonderful day to life.
