Occupational Therapist - Temporary

As a ministry of Good Samartian Education, Mater Dei Assesment and Therapy Program at Camden and Narellan provides education and therapy based programs for children and adults with developmental delay and disabilities.

We require a temporary full-time Occupational Therapist (38 hours per week) to develop, implement and evaluate individual therapy programs in a range of settings.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and the ability to work effectively as part of a transdisciplinary team is essential.

Please address the following essential criteria
• Bachelor / Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist, membership to Occupational Therapy Australia and a current drivers licence.
• Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience and knowledge of contemporary, evidence based Occupational Therapy practice in areas including assessment, delivery of functional Occupational Therapy programs and utilising various service delivery models when working with clients with a disability.
• A professional, warm, flexible and open attitude

Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience working within the NDIS framework would be advantageous but is not a requirement for this position

This is a maternity relief temporary position from June 2019 to January 2020.
