Mater Dei Early Childhood Education

Mater Dei Early Childhood Education recently launched an exciting and innovative program for children from birth to 3 yrs who are presenting with developmental delay and/or disability. Our weekly Learn to Play and Play to Learn Groups support parents and carers gain a deeper understanding of their children’s social, emotional and cognitive development whilst assisting families to navigate an appropriate Early Childhood Early Intervention Pathway leading to Preschool placements with a goal to participating for 600 hours in the year before they commence Kindergarten.

NSW Department of Education Start Strong Pathways funding has enabled our experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Teacher’s Assistants to offer a purposefully designed and resourced indoor space to foster and encourage children’s learning within a comfortable home-like setting where babies and toddlers have the opportunity to make choices, take safe risks, explore their surroundings and socialise with other children.

A new website is being developed for our Mater Dei community-based Preschool.
