Early Childhood Teachers

We are delighted to announce that the inaugural Mater Dei Preschool will open its doors in the very near future.

In preparation for this innovative mainstream community-based Preschool to commence, we are inviting Early Childhood Teachers as approved by ACECQA to register their expressions of interest to join this exciting team of professionals who are experienced, committed and dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education to all children from 3 to 6 years of age including children who have been assessed with mild to profound developmental delay and who have received diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Essential criteria includes:

*   Experience in early childhood education or equivalent

*   Current Working with Children Check 

Desirable criteria: 

• Current First Aid Certificate and training in Anaphylaxis and Asthma management

Current Child Protection training

A deep understanding of:

            a) National Laws and Regulations

            b)  National Quality Framework

            c)  National Quality Standards

            d)  ACECQA

            e)  Early Years Learning Framework

            f)   Workplace Health and Safety legislation

Early Childhood Educators will be employed under the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2010 at a level appropriate to role, qualifications and experience.
